Michelle Searles was born and raised in San Clemente, California, where her love for the ocean, hospitality, and organization began early on. Even as a child, she could often be found tidying store displays during grocery trips—an early glimpse into the detail-oriented mindset that would later shape her career in weddings and events.

In 2000, Michelle began working for John Q. Humphreys at the Ramos House Café in San Juan Capistrano's historic Los Rios District, where she quickly developed a passion for hospitality and creating welcoming guest experiences. When Humphreys began restoring The Villa San Juan Capistrano in 2004, Michelle continued leading operations at Ramos House while supporting the evolving venue.

In 2009, The Villa San Juan Capistrano opened to the public, and Michelle stepped into the role of Venue Coordinator. With over 600 weddings and seven seasons of experience, she dedicated her career to thoughtfully guiding couples through one of life's most meaningful celebrations. Her work has been featured in publications such as Green Wedding Shoes, Style Me Pretty, and Ceremony Magazine.

Today, Michelle serves as the Lead Venue Coordinator at The Swanner House in San Juan Capistrano, where she continues bringing her passion for hospitality, organization, and seamless event execution to every wedding. Her extensive experience and thoughtful approach ensure each celebration is both beautifully planned and deeply personal.
